2:36 PM - Honestly... I Could've Saved You the 2 Hours
Current mood: annoyed
If there's one thing I've been able to learn in my existence as a woman it is this... auto mechanics and copy repair men do not like to be told what is wrong with the broken machine in question.
Yesterday I called Yost to have a tech come out and check the copier. I told the nice lady on the phone that I suspected that the drum has gone since the little dots appearing on our print and copy jobs are consistantly in the same place. They were nice enough to have the tech that was in town come by for a visit that afternoon to check it out.
I told *T*, the tech, that I felt it was the drum.
After I showed him the print and copy jobs, he politely nodded and went about his business. For the next hour, between phone calls back to the office for more information about the machine, he quietly tore my copier apart and cleaned what seemed to be every knob and piece he could pull out (yep, a basic P.M. for those in the business or for those who have dealt with this for years too).
At 5:30 I announced that I was leaving the office. He put the machine back together and announced that he'd have to send the 'expert' out since he wasn't able to figure out the problem.
Okay, no biggie. I figured that would be the case seeing as he didn't listen to me when he started.
Fast forward to today. *T* shows up at the office (unannounced) to try and tackle our machine again.
Me: "I thought you were sending the expert."
*T*: "The expert told me what I needed to do to fix it."
Me: "Okay, good luck ;)"
Another full P.M. and an hour later and *T* is packing up his tools to leave.
Me: "Were you able to fix it?"
*T*: "No. I'll send *R* out to fix it."
Me: "What do you think is wrong with it?"
*T*: (very nonchalantly) "I think there is something wrong with the drum."
GEEZE... YOU THINK!!!!!!!!!!
