I can hardly stand it! While Jim is still asleep this morning I'm checking my blog roll and I am noticing that everyone else is posting spring pictures... spring... as in that time when all the snow melts and there's grass... GREEN grass... on the ground... no mud... no fresh snow storms... just plenty of G.R.E.E.N.
I'll be in California in a week and although I'm not too terribly excited about the overall trip I am excited to be somewhere where there will be absolutely no chance of a snow storm for the entire two whole days that I am there... that being said... hell might just freeze over and I'll be stuck in the Bakersfield airport while they wait for the runway to melt (almost typed plow... then had the moment of realization that there probably isn't one single snow plow in the whole entire of Kern County!)...
I'll be sure to let you all know what green grass between the toes feels like :)

Sounds like fun! Are you traveling with your family? I did not know you are part Irish. You know what is funny, I'm not:) I'm actually very English with a good dollap of Swedish, and a drop of Scottish.
