An Unexpected Evening...

I had originally had plans to go out to dinner tonight with a friend... and then our other friend who had recently moved to Montana sent a message to let us know she was in town for an appointment... and well... the next thing we know we're splitting queso and enjoying great conversation last night instead... and some laughter... it'd been so long since I've really laughed... I feel a little guilty about it. I don't know why, I just do.

At any rate, it was just generally a good thing to get together with friends. I've been running so ragged trying to get caught up that I've forgotten what it's like to interact with real live people. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't have 'friends.' I've never considered myself popular by any means, but then Facebook became popular and all of a sudden I'm back in contact with 101 of my closest classmates. Yes, I'm one of those probably rare people who actually have interacted IRL with everyone on their friend list... I'm a freak... I know...

Anyway... back to tonight... We didn't take any pictures though... we were too busy causing an uproar and loud ruckus... so I'm posting a picture from a girls night out a few years back... how I wish my hair was that long again. I think, despite the face being completely out of focus, I should remember to take this shot with me the next time I get my haircut. I'm probably a couple of inches short of the length, but this is the style Jim liked the best on me... and now I'm just rambling... I'll blame it on too much Mt. Dew at dinner.

*** eta: I really shouldn't blog after I've taken my Bendadryl cold medicine at night... a kindergartner could've written a more coherent missive. ***
