I just got back from the post office. The nice guy that works there, Adam, and I like to give eachother a ton of crap. For instance, I walked in today and overheard him asking a co-worker if it was hot in the back or if it was just him... yeah... he set himself up... and I couldn't resist... then I dropped some of the mail out the back of the box... my turn to take it... of course I needed help at the front desk to send a certified letter... he was a bit impatient... I yelled, "I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming..." yeah I walked into that one... Mr. Macho got the tables turned on him... score 2 Tara, 1 Adam... I'll spare you the details.

But then Adam did something really sweet. He complimented me on my new purchases (part of living in a small town, the postmaster knows when you've received new clothing in the mail) and then, in addition to telling me I had a nice style, told me I looked like I'd lost some weight!

Ahhhh... what a sweetheart. Truth be told, I have no clue if I have or haven't... but it sure was nice to hear it from someone... doubly nice to hear it from a member of the opposite sex :)
