Smoot Annual Christmas Party

The annual Smoot Christmas party was held the same night that Elfie made his debut. We quickly rushed from the bowing on stage to the church house because Elfie was also involved in the pageant of sorts that they were having. He was in charge of carrying the letters "E" and "U." It took forever to get through the entire alphabet and poor Mrs. Merritt was at her wits end by the end of the "performance." The icing on the cake was when the twelve (12) feet of garland fell off of the stage :)
