Technically it changed two days ago when I first received that amazing invitation... and yesterday when I first heard the sound of your voice... eight amazing years later and I love you more today than I did that first week so long ago... Thank you for such a wonderful journey... even if it didn't turn out in the end the way we could have ever imagined. I have learned so much from you over the years... patience... compassion... humor... unconditional love... endurance... our relationship was truly a reflection of the both of us... our strength... our goals... our dreams... our paths all merged as one perfect, but still not flawless, love... with you by my side I was fearless... and you, you were finally seeing the man I knew you were... the man I knew you could become... with just a little bit of love and encouragement...
Happy anniversary Waddles. I am so glad I didn't back out of the date. I couldn't imagine my life without you having been such a major part of it... and I truly will never be able to repay you for your friendship and love throughout the years. You are the reason I am the woman I am today. I became what you saw in me. I love you Jim. I will always love you.
