Jim's Trail of Diamonds...

I'm working at keeping my shit together right now. It's been a long, hard, emotional week. I've been admonished to go out and take new pictures... I get as far as taking the camera with me... but not actually taking a picture of anything... so I'm going through "old" photos and editing and reviewing them when I can't sleep late at night.

This is String Lake in Grand Teton National Park. Jim and I were hiking up to Leigh Lake at the time. I distinctly remember thinking I'd grab this shot because of the framed path down to the lake... and now all I can focus on is the trail of "diamonds" on the water... not quite the diamonds I had envisioned when Jim told me he was going to find the biggest sparkly ones he could... these are even better.

It's little moments like this that remind me... he's still looking over my shoulder.
