Beautiful Fall Weather...

Makes me miss Jim.

Makes me think of the hikes around the "neighborhood" we liked to take.

Makes me sad.

Some said the hardest part was yet to come. I hate to admit it. I think they're right.

I do not know you. I googled asp caterpillar to figure out what is all over my driveway and came across the picture of Jim's hand holding a caterpillar. It looked like the ones I have seen so I selected it. I ended up on your blog and quickly realized that you are a grieving widow. I read your archives and soon realized that you have been suffering through a horrible ordeal. I am so sorry for your loss. It is clear that he was a wonderful man and you love him dearly. I hope this is not too intrusive, but I just wanted you to know that someone in Oklahoma is thinking of you and will be praying for you and your family.

Julie,

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. It's not intrusive at all. I leave the blog public so that people, like yourself, can discover the Jim I was so lucky to know and love and recognize, as you did, how wonderful of a man he was.

Thank you for your extra thoughts and prayers. They are felt and still so very much needed on this journey.

xoxoxo,
Tara Ann

P.S. Don't forget to hold the ones you love just one second longer before they go, you never know when it might be the last chance you get to hug them :)
