It's hard to believe you've been gone five years... harder to believe you should be 43 years old today... This year has had its ups and downs... crazy moments of stupidity (seriously, what is the use of a plea agreement if it can be petitioned)... lessons learned... mistakes made... fit of laughter... fighting tears... and through it all you've not left my side for a moment of it... and have guided things and people in my path as I needed them. I miss you more and more every day. I catch myself still dialing your number. Thank you for all you still do for me. Thank you for showing me what true love is.
