More Spoiled than any Woman Should've Been

First of all, he didn't hurt me after I snuck this picture of him while we were out and about over Memorial Day... We'd tried to hike up to Hidden Falls in the Park, but after taking the ferry across the lake discovered that the snow pack was still too high to manage without galoshes and hip waders... so instead we drove out to Mormon Row and took pictures of the buffalo and old barns...
Waddles set up this shot... and I snapped it.

But I digress...

I've always known he spoiled me rotten, and I always made sure to thank him for it... but boy did he set me up... I realized after the laundry finished the other night that while I've been doing our laundry while he was home a lot in the last month and a half... I've not put any of it away. The laundry fairy was doing it all while I was at work... bless his sole... he even hung my slacks... and put everything in the right drawers (which was no easy feat because I have 9 of them).

Not only that... but I nearly forgot where the garbage closet was outside the condo because I wouldn't so much as have to think it was time to take out the garbage and he'd be scampering around collecting them from the bathrooms (I know!!! He was that good!!!) and carrying out all of it before I could so much as get the words, "I'll do it!" out of my mouth.

I've also not had to do the dishes or empty the dishwasher since June 1st. I've done plenty of cooking (Jim loved my chili verde) and plenty of baking (he was teasing me mercifully for forgetting to spray the pan before I made the lemon bars...) but no dishes.

Cooking isn't the same when you have to clean up the mess alone.
Laundry can wait when there's half as much to do.
The garbage doesn't need emptied in Jim's bathroom.

It's awfully quiet in the front room.

Thank you Emily. And thank you for helping to post the missing information on MySpace... you're such a trooper and a great friend!

Please don't cry... I do enough of that for everyone.

Love,
Tara Ann
