(Taken in my Great Uncle's flower garden)
I would be remiss if I didn't take a moment to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and friendship over the past four weeks. It has been a truly trying time for all.
Thank you to the classmates and friends who have sent such kind letters. I reread them every night. It took such strength to send them and they mean a lot to me.
Thank you to those who have approached me while I've been visiting home this week with warm and gentle hugs and "hang in there's." Many of you I haven't seen in years, but knowing that you care and are concerned has helped me get through the last couple of busy days.
Thank you to Jim's friends and family who have taken the time to write and call. I've said it before, but it's worth saying again... Jim has a lot of people who love him and care about him and his family. I don't think I have ever known a more lovable man.
Thank you to my family for all of you have done. I don't know where I would be without my mom and step-dad's generosity and compassion. And the love and support of my brothers and sisters means so very much to me.
And finally, thank you to the Detectives, investigators, and all those behind the scenes who continue to work diligently to find the answers we all are so desperately seeking. May God be on your side as you continue your work and may you keep up the strength you need to bring Jim justice and to catch those who could perform such a pusillanimous deed. He did not live in vain. He had so very many goals and dreams and was excited to have started living and completing them.
My deepest love to all,
Tara Ann
