In an effort to get organized early for the weekend I pulled out one of our suitcases... only to find a playbill from a play Jim attended earlier this year in the top pocket...
Jim was so very proud of his children's accomplishments. Whenever possible he would try his hardest to make it back to support their latest endeavors. And when he wasn't there Jim loved to hear about the practices and rehearsals. If he was on the road I could always tell when he had just gotten off the phone with the kids by the smile in his voice. When he was home I could see his eyes light up when they called to check in with him and I loved how happy they made him. He loved them so very much and they loved him even more in return.
He truly was the best father I have ever met.
