A Tribute Survey

This is one of those memes floating around out there that I've seen for awhile now... and I figured it would be a good thing to not only fill some late night time with, but to share a little bit more about Jim with everyone.

1. He's sitting in front of the TV, what is on the screen? Depending on the time of day... a movie (classic or new)... Cartoon Network (Adult Swim, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends)/Nickelodeon (Sponge Bob, Fairy Odd Parents)... Family Guy, Medium, Lost, Heroes, 24, Grey's Anatomy, Ghost Hunters, ESPN (Cold Pizza)... South Park, Reno 911 and InuYusha.

2. You're out to eat; what kind of dressing does he get on his salad? Blue Cheese.

3. What's one food he doesn't like? Shake 'n' Bake chicken. Jim told me how this was a staple growing up and he just could not stand to even look at it as an adult. Other than that pretty much everything else was free game ;)

4. You go out to eat and have a drink, what does he order? Jim loved it all... and it would depend on where we decided to go that night... but likely there'd be an imported beer or two that crossed the table... and if he was feeling like paying through the nose for the harder stuff it was a Dalwhinnie Single Malt whiskey... and if he was out with the guys he'd order Jager...

5. Where did he go to high school? Trevor G. Browne High School in Phoenix, Arizona... twenty years ago.

6. What size shoe does he wear? 7.5ish... it really depended on the type, style, and whether it was domestic or an import.

7. If he was to collect anything, what would it be? Matchboxes from the places we've been. He's a bigger romantic than me when it comes to little things like that.

8. What is his favorite type of sandwich? I never saw him order the same thing twice at Subway... and even at home... he's not particular that way.

9. What would this person eat every day if he could? Hands down... pizza.

10. What is his favorite cereal? He really wasn't a cold cereal eater... and hot cereal had to have brown sugar and the works for it to be eaten.

11. What would he never wear? Hmmm... there's not a lot of pink in his closet... and there's no tighty-whities either ;)

12. What is his favorite sports team? Cubs, Boston Red Sox, Broncos, Suns, and Avalanche. Did I cover all the sports?

13. Who did he vote for? He didn't get the opportunity to vote this year. But the election before he said he voted for Bush (it was the lesser of two evils).

14. Who is his best friend? Me of course, followed by a handful of coworkers.

15. What is something you do that he wishes you wouldn't do? I don't say "no" near enough and I let myself get committed to things I sometimes would rather not do.

16. What is his heritage? A little bit of everything.

17. You bake him a cake for his birthday; what kind of cake? Anything but chocolate.

18. Did he play sports in high school? I believe he ran track... but that could've been Jr. High. One way or another that's the sport he talked the most about participating in because he was always excited when the kids would want to run things like the Tenderfoot Marathon, etc.

19. What could he spend hours doing? Playing with the kids... watching movies... reading... snuggling in bed.

20. What is one unique talent he has? He could make a dark room feel lit :)
